Job Title: Clinical Support Specialist – Orthopaedics

Salary: €50K+

Location: Covering a Leinster Territory, ideally candidates will be based in the greater Dublin region

Description of Role: This is an opportunity to join a very well respected worldclass medical device company. The clinical support specialist will work with the Orthopaedic team to provide clinical product support for a range of surgical instruments and implants.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• The clinical support specialist delivers product education and training to clinical customers, (surgeons, nursing staff and biomedical engineering)

• Establishing and maintaining relationships with key accounts and customers

• Promoting products to relevant customers, being mindful of clinical need and appropriateness

• Providing a high level of customer service and building long term trusting relationships.

Requirements:

Candidates will ideally have:

• A relevant life science qualification (nursing, physiotherapy, biomedical engineering, clinical science).

• At least 3 years previous experience in a clinical environment.

• Ideally candidates will have worked in a similar clinical support or sales role

• Familiar with relevant medical device EU directives and standards.

• Full clean drivers‘ license

• Flexibility to travel throughout Leinster as required.

• Excellent planning and organisational skills

• Self motivated and driven

• A strong team player

• Capacity to take on clinical knowledge

• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
