RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our client have a great opportunity for an experienced Procurement professional to join the business. This is a key position within the business and will suit those with a background as Buyer / Product Manager who has a keen eye for gaps in product offerings and can strategise full product lifecycle, from conception to release.

Commutable from within Louth, Armagh, Monaghan, parts of Cavan and Meath. NI payroll is also available for cross-border candidates.

Requirements:

• Experience in similar role preferably in the retail/distribution sector or other fast paced environment.

• Demonstrable knowledge of SEM (search engine marketing) and online advertising, along with a degree in Business or similar is desirable.

• Capable in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.

• High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams.

• Experience in a dynamic product management role and in in delivering product marketing strategies.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities:

• Define the product range strategy and roadmap.

• Developing products through insights from market research and customer buying behaviour.

• Establishing strategies for product pricing and positioning.

• Defining the key features, specifications and requirements of products based on customer preferences.

• Conducting competitor research to learn more about customers‘ needs.

• Developing joint business plans with brand partners and factories.

• Managing the budgets involved with product development.

• Managing product launches and marketing campaigns.

• Performing profit analysis and forecasting to develop or improve product marketing strategies.

• Creating project timeline and implementation schedules.

• Monitor, report and improve product performance.

• Promote the product to sales teams through sales training sessions, webinars, newsletters and other mechanisms.
